Courtney Murrah has joined the Exchange Club Family Center as the new director of marketing and special events. The James Rumsey Technical Institute of The Jill S weekley Learning Center is offering a variety of free programs. The participants can be of 16 years of age or older too who are still out of public systems. The excellent quality is that they are completely free of cost for everyone. The students can join classes both in day and evening hours. Certain programs available are LPN Programs, essay writing and basic study skills etc. Outstanding graduates are chosen for representing eight academic colleges in The University of Louisiana at Lafayette. The ULL Alumni Association is organizing this function and named it as fall 2008. The eight finalists were selected by the deans of their respective colleges. The new five star rating scales specially made for nursing home quality which was released on Thursday by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). However it is very complex and not very accurate system which failed to provide consumers an appropriate tool for measuring quality of care. Mostly hospitals rated below average ratings. A report send by Florida Center for Nursing Care estimated that the shortage of nursing could increase to 52,000 within the next 13 years. The Auckland District Health Board is quitting its contract of providing heart treatment to adults as they are facing difficulties in hiring and retaining enough specialist nurses. Kay Hyman, the board’s general manager of clinical services said that they are not able to increase the production of Cardio-thoracic and vascular intensive care nursing staff.
